In the warm climate of the Northern Gold Coast hinterlands, a few of our club athletes found themselves amongst the nations best. Jess De Bruin ran a strong race finishing 9th in the Under 18 4k with 16.17. Jess was also a member of the Victorian team that collected the silver medal in the teams event. Rachel King found conditions tough, but managed to finish 9th in the Under 20 6k in 28.31. Senior runner Anna Thompson running in her first national event performed very well finishing 11th in the 8k with 32.26.
