Box Hill athletes continue to achieve overseas, interstate and at home.
Nana Owusu-Afriyie has been selected in the 4x100m squad to represent Australia at the World Relay Championships in Yokahama on May 10 and 11.
Harry Summers finished ahead of thousands of runners to win the 2019 Run for the Kids in Melbourne. Harry covered the hilly 12.8km course in 37:55.
Michael Eury ran a 13 minute PB in running 2:44:10 for the Boston Marathon on Monday. This time put Michael into 6th place in his age group, a great performance in this famous race.
Georgia Griffith and Georgia Hansen ran a great race to finish 1st and 2nd in the Australian University Championships on the Gold Coast. Georgia Griffith won in 4:10.52 ahead of Georgia Hansen (4:11.22) well ahead of the rest of the field. Both athletes bettered the qualifying time for the World University Games.
