XCR’15 ROUND 7 AT BRIMBANK PARK THIS SATURDAY
The next round of the XCR’15 season will be the Brimbank Park cross country on Saturday, August 1. If you do not have a series ticket you must enter for this event online, via the AV website. Entries close at noon on Wednesday, July 29. After the first six rounds of XCR’15, Box Hill in position to win up to four premierships this season, with our men’s premier division, division 2, Over 50s and women over 40 either on top or close to the top of the ladder. Let’s hope we can have another great team performance at the Brimbank Park cross country event.
Program:
12:00 noon: 4km cross country (Women U20, U14, Men U14)
12:20pm: 6km cross country (Women U16, U18, Men U16, U20)
12:50pm: 6km cross country (Women Open)
1:35pm: 8km cross country (Men U18)
2:05pm: 16km cross country (Men Open)
We need 3 volunteers to act as officials on Saturday. Please let us know if you can help.
CONGRATULATIONS KLARIE
Congratulations to Klarie McIntyre who won the Run Melbourne half marathon in a time of 71:02. Klarie finished ahead of more than 5000 runners. A great effort. Congratulations also to Georgie Meehan who was the first women in the 5km event in a time of 18:43
NATIONAL CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS – ENTER NOW
The Australian Cross Country Championships will be held at Moonee Valley race course on Saturday, August 29. The Victorian teams for this event have already been selected but others can enter as in the open and U20 events as additional competitors. Entries via the AV website close at noon on August 6.
